It's no wonder your dad is always talking about you here on the blog: you look like living joy!

For Bryn-

The few seconds I saw you on Saturday made me realize just how much I missed by not getting to meet your mommy. But her obvious beauty lives on in you.

For Katelyn-

Those moments when I got to see you and your dad interact reminded me of my experience with my own daughter. You and your dad have that same rare gift that I was blessed to have with my daughter: a "step" relationship that does away with the "step" and only acknowledges the "daddy" and the "daughter." As a step-dad myself, there is nothing else in this world that can even touch that kind of love.

For Jake-

First, my apologies that this is going on forever (again!). You have no idea what a blessing your writing is, and how inspiring it is. Like, right now, for reasons I can't explain, I'm feeling down. Don't know why, I just am. Driving to Kroger a little while ago, I saw the light on in your house and thought, "Oh, I hope he's posting on the blog." Do you know that I look forward to your daily posts? Between you and my friend who lost her son, the level of inspiration is so high it's almost overwhelming. But it's like my friend Gaylene says, "Take joy in the journey." You have; despite your mourning and your grieving (which is only natural) and that is why it is such a blessing to see you share that joy with us.

Hope to have time to visit y'all this weekend.

In Him and around the corner (and loving this cold weather!),

AlAl Rearickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17966903820694588558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12102787.post-67207348445675799402008-11-20T23:05:00.000-06:002008-11-20T23:05:00.000-06:00Bryn,I love how whenever I ask you to do something...Bryn,
I love how whenever I ask you to do something you always say, "Fine." You never argue, you never say "no," you never pitch a fit, you just say, "fine." I remember when your mom said you would need to put freckles on your face when you dressed as a scarcrow for Halloween and you sad, "Silly, you already gave me REAL freckles." I remember when you cut out the paper heart and put in on top of your mom's real heart. You placed your heart right on top of moms. I want you to know that there is a huge part of your mom in thousands of people's hearts but the biggest part of your mom is inside of her daughters.

I love you,
Aunt SandyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12102787.post-91413356849654717332008-11-20T22:52:00.000-06:002008-11-20T22:52:00.000-06:00mr. Its: "I Still Miss You" by Hawk Nelson. About half-way through, it started to remind me of Jessica. It's on my page on the blog "blah" if you go to my profile thing, if you would like to listen to it. Maybe one day we will have a conversation. One thing I would tell you is that you sure are a lucky girl to have so many people that love you. I am one of them!
Holly Anderson (Luke's mom)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
