Praises abound!

Another wonderful day today...I have no side effects, symptom free!

Today I had my MRI of my brain. It was pretty standard...just a lot of loud pounding while stuck in a really small space. The good points were: I got to listen to a radio station (KLTY), there was a mirror in front of me positioned to a window behind me so I could feel like I was looking outside instead of at a white tube, and lastly, I got to go out to lunch afterward with one of my favorite people, my Uncle Shawn!

Dr. Haley, my oncologist will read the rusults and call me by Friday.

Also a huge praise is that the lumps/masses that I can feel are noticeably smaller than before chemo!! I can't wait to have the doctor measure when I go back on the 27th. This has been so encouraging to me to see results already. It makes the harder days worthwhile, and helps me to anticipate further treatment rather than dread it!

Jess,

My name is Laurie and I'm Alyson Z's friend. I've met you & Shelley a few times & called you last year on the phone about the SB Diet (though I didn't have the guts to stick with it like you did!). Our family has prayed for you & your family daily since Alyson broke the news to us. I didn't feel like I could call you because I don't know you real well, but I want you to know there are even strangers that care & are here for you. Debbie @ Walnut Ridge said she spoke to you about the pre-school & if you ever need me to take the girls or pick them up, I'm here to help! Thanks for starting this website & sharing your trials and triumphs, you are "super-woman!"

Hi Jessica! I am sitting at my desk during my planning period reading your new website. It's wonderful! I am praying for you, your family, your mother, and Aunt Sandy! I use the daily prayer calander from your church. I have never seen anything like that, and it really helps to focus my thoughts. Keep up the humor and positive attitude. Know we are in this war with you every day! You Go Girl!!!

Jessa,

I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of you for the strength and positive attitude you have shown since we began this journey we really didn't want to go on! As Mrs. Fank so beautifully states your mission, "Live in such a way that those who know you but don't know God, will come to know God because they know you." How did I get so lucky to be your aunt? Don King hair or not, you are beautiful!

Love,
Aunt Sandy

Jessa and Family,
I had the priviledge of working for your Aunt Sandy last year. I pray for the Holy Spirit to envelop your precious girls. They will develop an even more tender spirit and you will watch their compassion blossom in the midst of this journey. I know this because my two neices ages 4 and 1 1/2 have tender hearts as they went down the cancer road with their mom-my sister. I pray for return of taste, less fatigue and for hope to fill your hearts and home. Don King or not, the Father looks at you with tender mercies and smiles at your family. My prayers for endurance and hope are with your family.
