This Weekend

An anonymous person dropped off a CD yesterday at our house. The CD was Jeremy Camp's Stay album which has the song "I Still Believe" on it which could have just easily been written about our lives. It was balm to my soul as I listened to it on the way to work this morning. Each day brings a new blessing. This weekend Jessa and I are taking a weekend down to Austin, just the two of us. It's been many years since we have been able to this so we are really looking forward to it. We have no planned agenda and I think this weekend is just what both us us need. It will be really nice just enjoying each other's company.

Enjoy each others smiles :) and Jessica, by God's grace and healing power, He will make you a SURVIVOR. It's SURVIVOR TEXAS the casting director will be calling soon... Jake & Jessica,

Reading your message today brought back so many memories. Chandler, Cydnie and I saw Jeremy Camp sing that song in concert while Colbi was sick and it became so special to me. I'm glad his CD is ministering to you as it did to me. You guys have a great weekend!! You both inspire me and I love you.

Jeremy Camp is in concert this week (Thursday Night) in Oklahoma City (3 hours). I imagine it would be tough for you to make it, but if there's anything I can do to help make it possible for you, I'll be glad to. I'm going up there myself so just let me know. Jeremy's music has done more me while I was going through these days than any other Christian Artist. Check out his website at www.jeremycamp.com. Be sure to read his own testimony how God got him through very similar circumstances.

My Precious Jessa and Jake,
As you guys get ready for your 2nd round of Chemo this week, I hope you feel the thousands upon thousands of prayers that are being laid at the feet of Jesus for total healing. The way you are handling this journey is a testimony of your faith and a beautiful witness to our family. I told your mom, Jessa that I would do anything in the world to take this stupid cancer away from you but I wouldn't give anything for the change it has made in me. I love you guys to heaven and back again.

Love,
Aunt Sandy
