No Problems with Surgery

They finished surgery about fourty-five minutes ago. The surgery took a little bit longer because of the tumors in her leg. The cancer had made the bone extra soft. They said they would keep Jess at least a couple of days to manage her pain. She's in the recovery room but I'm hoping to see her in a few minutes.

Jessica and Jake,

Thinking of you and praying that the surgery was successful.

Since it sounds like Jessica will be in the hospital on her birthday (Thursday), hope we can fill up the room with love and fun wishes!! (=

Love you lots,
Aunt Janette

Jess, your dad asked how your spirits were and I told him when I rushed to the hospital to see you, your smile lit up the room. He wasn't surprised. We've known that smile for almost 33 years. Keep smiling, honey. Everything will be alright. He's got you and me, baby, in His hands, He's got the whole world in His hands.
Love you,
Mom

Jess,
May God provide you with comfort after your surgery, and for extra measure, send His angels to cushion every part of you with their Heavenly wings!

Psalms 121:1-2

"I lift up my eyes to the hills—

where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,

the Maker of heaven and earth."

We know you have your "eyes to the hills" Jess. The joy and contentment you illuminate regardless of the circumstances, can only come from above. There is no other way to explain it...it is not of this world.

"Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him."

Praise God for His promise, that He will never leave or forsake us. I pray that you will feel His presence and gentle spirit in your stay at the hospital.

Happy Birthday Friend!!

Thinking of you,

Lisa Smith

Kaylor family,
We are praying for y'all and will continue to lift Jessica up to the Great Physician.
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strenghten you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
