Headache Problem Solved

I noticed that Wendy Casas posted that Jessa's headache might be as a result of spinal fluid loss and she nailed it: that is exactly what the doctors found (even before I checked the blog). They have kept the drain at the surgery site but have stopped the pump-- no more spinal fluid being pumped out and presto-- a happier Jess!

One thing I have learned on this San Diego segment of Our Journey with Jessica is to take one day at a time. There are several exciting possibilities in the works but they are not realities yet. I just got a phone call that the goal of raising money for a med flight home has been met. You can help by praying for total doctor support of this; a safe, uneventful trip home; and for Jess to choose the right medical facility in Dallas to go to for rehab/radiation/other medical treatment. Also in the works is for more visitors coming here to San Diego, including our three precious daughters.

God has asked a lot of us, but we are asking a lot of Him-- don't we have a big God?

One final thing: I need a computer techie person to tell me how I can download a video of Zander Curtis's baptism this Sunday so we can watch it here. I know LABC videotapes the services, so this isn't too far of a stretch. Just post a comment if you know how. Jess and I would love to see our nephew take the plunge!

So glad to hear the headaches are better. I know seeing all 3 girls will be such a blessing.
Can you give us a contact person who is putting together the funding or whatever is needed for the flight back. Maybe how some unneeded frequent flyer miles could be passed along for all these family trips??

AWESOME... GOD IS GOOD. He provides us with friends and connections that we need to lead us toward His divine plan. The city of South Arlington has been in constant prayer for you guys. At BSF this week we learned it is not our faith that moves mountains, but the power of God in response to our FAITHFUL PRAYERS. Praise for the mountainous headaches removed... Have a coke and a smile:)

Hey Jake,

mark and I are leaving for a trip tomorrow and have been waiting to drop something at the hospital for Jess. My mom is already in Portland but my stepdad has something to bring her. Can you email me if you are able to receive gifts. liz@colligan.com. Blessings and prayers, Liz in Oregon

Jake,

I'm not sure about it, but it seems to me that Jason could post the baptism video on YouTube or something. I'll email him to day to see if that's a possibility.

I will keep praying for your entire family.

jake --- what wonderful news and I so agree, it is best to take one day at a time...though hard sometimes. Jake -- be sure to take some walks and take care of yourself!!!
I know someone will have the answer about the video.

Hugs and love to all,

Lynne and Dave

You know the entire Kaylor family is in our prayers! Thanks so much for letting Katelyn stay with us last night! She's precious, both girls were ready early and so I treated them to Chicken Mini's from Chick Fil A. Anytime you want to send her our way, the door is open! Love you and so thankful for the banished headaches. 1 Day at A Time! I think there's a scripture about that one!
