Not Coming Home Yet
Jess was a quite a bit of pain this morning, but did better tonight. There is still one more hospice company we want to visit with before we choose one. I don't know when Jess will be able to come home, but since it's not going to be tomorrow we still have time to figure out the best way to take care of her after she leaves the hospital. She has been on oral pain meds this weekend instead of through the IV which is an important step in her coming home, but the meds have not been able yet to keep her comfortable.

I am praying that they find the right meds to keep her out of pain. I love you, Jake. Give Jessa my love and tell her I will see her shortly. Oh, and then tell her something funny. Read her my newest post on my blog. Chrystal says it's my funniest one yet. :)
Jessa, When I went to your blog tonight, Martina McBride was singing "And when I pray, life doesn't always turn out like I think it should, but I do it anyway." Jess, this isn't where we prayed we would be, but God's plan is perfect and He loves you more than all the people praying for you wrapped together. Can you even imagine how much that is? I think it is unimaginable. None of us know the number of our days but we know this...for those of us who believe, we get to spend eternity together...forever, forever, forever. "Thank you, Jesus for loving Jessa beyond measure. Thank you, Jesus for giving her such peace and for her ability to understand the plan even when the rest of us struggle with it. Whatever your plan, Lord please pour peace over Jess and let her know we will rejoice in your plan and we will all be stronger for knowing her."
Love,
Aunt Sandy
Hey Jake and Jess,
I have been struggling with posting to my blog...but Tessa, whom I have never met, has inspired me. We carved pumpkins this weekend. I'll go post just for you right now.
We love you. We pray for you and we trust Jesus to be your comfort and peace.

My prayers are with you all. May God provide for all of your needs during this very difficult time.
II Corinthians 4:16-18
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what it unseen is eternal."
May God help you see the unseen today.
Jake and Jessica,
I have continued to follow your blog on a weekly basis. Words are simply inadequate to describe the blessing that your testimony is to me and countless others. Your steadfast, unwavering faith strengthens my own. What a gift! God has allowed this season in your life because he wanted the world to see what His love truly looks like. It is strong, compassionate, all consuming, unconditional love and it shows so brightly through you. We continue to go to the thrown with prayers for you both, the girls, and all of those who love you so much. May He continue to bring you unspeakable peace, comfort and wisdom to guide you in your decisions.
Love,
Katy Tuttle
Jessa and family,
I need to read this several times a day to really believe it, but I know you read this verse once and believed."Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you"
A devotion book says,"drop the tangles of life into God's hands and leave them there"
Blessings to all of you,
beverly

Jessica, I'll be specifically praying also for the pain meds and for your comfort. I'll read the rest of the blogs for more specific needs. My thanks to David dickey for sending me the FB link : )!
Praying for Peace for you and your family. No wise words, just praying.
1 Peter 1:3-9
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith the salvation of your souls."
Psalm 71:20-21
"Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once again."
Psalm 138:7
"Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me."
Almighty God, maker of the heavens and the earth, we thank you for Life. We thank you for every single day we have breath, as we recognize that you breathed the life in us and we recognize that Life is so very precious and miraculous. We praise you specifically for making Jessica Kaylor in an amazing and wonderful way. We thank you for each and every day that she blesses us here on earth, because we know that she is on loan to us from above.
Lord, we know that you are a Sovereign God, capable of all things...and we continue to pray for physical healing for Jessica and believe with all our heart that nothing is impossible for you. We pray for manageable pain and peace of mind.
We know that you are compassionate and merciful; you have full authority over all sickness, but we also know that your ways are higher than ours, and though often we do not fully understand, we recognize that sometimes our physical healing awaits us in heaven.
Lord, we trust in your plan, whatever it may be and praise you for giving Jessica the peace and hope that only comes from knowing you. She knows that your grace is sufficient and rejoices in her victory in Jesus. Thank you for preparing a place for us that where you are, there we shall be also. Thank you for your promise that you will never leave or forsake us.
Lord when our bodies fail us, we know that you will renew us, you will restore our life again. Because we know you, death is not our enemy...we rejoice and await abundant life in heaven. Lord, whatever your plan, we trust in your promise that you will renew Jessica's body...either here on earth or in heaven...and when you do finally call our dear friend home, you will certainly say,
"WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT...COME ENJOY YOUR REWARD IN HEAVEN...COME SHARE YOUR MASTER'S JOY!!" and she will sing...
Victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood...
Thank you God for the Victory we have in Jesus. Thank you Lord for JESSICA KAYLOR and that one day, all who know you will see you in full Glory and enjoy eternal life together!!
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Lisa Smith
