Wearing Pink

Traditional funeral attire is fine for tomorrow. However, I know Jess would have approved of wearing pink (including the Journey with Jessica t-shirt). I know a lot of people have been thinking about doing this, but were unsure if it would be alright. Well, I'm giving you my permission and blessing.

Jake, Jessica was just beautiful tonight. The pain had left her and now she is at home with her Lord rejoicing and singing beautiful songs of praise. I could tell how tired you were tonight. I hope rest comes to you soon and that you can spend some quiet time with the girls. Your family has touched many lives and will continue to touch many more. I know it has touched me. I will let my friend in San Diego know that Jess is at peace now. She came to visit you both at the hospital out there. Rev. Eubanks. She could tell the specialness in both of you right away. Thanks for always keeping us in the now. You are an amazing young man with a beautiful family. My prayers continue for the Kaylor family, the Burcie family and the McNutt family. Together your family bond and strength and love for your Lord will get you thru the sad times.
